Norman has redesigned and developed a brand identity for Sunny, the first emergency lighting company in Thailand, founded in 1979. Previously, Sunny used the sun symbol as their main brand identity. The sun emblem is on every product and packaging, the abstract design, adopted in the 80s, exemplified a typical factory identity solution. Building on this history, the Norman team working with the director team develop a new brand identity as well as its athletic logo.
The design team created a new logo mark and developed the new lines of the sun symbol. The primary identity lockups feature the sun symbol with the words “SUNNY”, set uppercase in bold the handsome sans-serif logotype and the identity also uses an updated signature color palette introducing a brighter, more confident shade of red, and complimentary gray.
